Though it comes in number 5 on this list of law firm questions, client relations tops the blog charts for this week.  Allison Shields’ Legalease offers a great round up.  Of course, one of the best essays I’ve ever seen on how to get to know your client is this one (though I can’t find the full text online anymore).

    Thanks for the link and the great essay excerpt. Your point is well taken – certainly the best way to serve our clients is to get to know them in as many ways as we possibly can. As the essay points out, there are lots of ‘non-traditional’ ways to do that, and often, those ways are the most effective. It is, after all, all about relationships.
