I am a virtual bankruptcy paralegal, working from my home in Seattle. An Arizona bankruptcy attorney contacted me because he was trying to decide between hiring a part-time employee and using a virtual assistant.
He already had a full-time paralegal, but needed some additional help. His concern was that there would be periods of time that he could not keep a part timer busy.
He opted to use my services because he could send casework when he needed the help, but had no obligation to me when his paralegal could handle all cases. He paid no payroll taxes or benefits for me. It was win-win for both of us.
