Our [Soft] Relaunch

I couldn’t have picked a worse time to relaunch MyShingle. I’m headed out of town later today, en route to the Missouri Solo & Small Firm Conference where I’m slated to make four presentations and participate in the keynote panel. Plus, I’ve got a filing to complete; a new client who just retained me.

Still, after plotting my relaunch for nearly two years, trying to figure out the direction I wanted to take, I had to push this baby out the door. The site is already well stocked and better organized, though the OnLine Guide isn’t nearly complete.

So take some time to look around the site while I’m away. I’ll put up a more formal post on Monday, explaining why I’ve decided to take this step and my vision for MyShingle’s future. Plus, I’ve got a bunch of thank-you’s, including Kevin O’Keefe of Lexblog , who knew where blogs were headed and what they meant for lawyers long before the rest of us and served as gracious host to MyShingle for nearly three years and Nolo, this site’s generous sponsor, not to mention the best ever law book publisher!

But more on that next week – in the meantime, reset your browser and follow MyShingle to its new home. And if you plan on attending the Missouri SSF Conference, stop by and say hello – I’d love to meet you!

Carolyn, the new site looks wonderful. I’m excited to see what you have in store for MyShingle, and I know it will keep up with the high quality we’ve come to know and love for all these years.

Gorgeous new site. Congrats, Carolyn. WordPress and Thesis – great combo 🙂

Agree, Kevin and LexBlog are trailblazers and sure are knowledgeable about blogging – legal and beyond! Kudos on your new partner, (host?), Nolo.
