Conference Round Up: MILO Conference, NC Marketing & My Upcoming Appearance At The Practice & MyLegal

There’s a bunch of upcoming events that may be of interest.

First, – this is a bit of short notice, but the North Carolina Bar Association is offering a FREE (to members) two day start up bootcamp – details available here

Second, my colleague Victor Medina is organizing the second Macs in the Law Office (MILO) Conference November 11-13 at Disneyworld.  I didn’t attend last year nor can I swing it this year, but I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews from last year’s attendees.  So if you’re a Mac fan or even if you’re not, check it out.

Third, I’m making a couple of appearances in the next two weeks.  This week, I am thrilled to be flying down to Miami to present at The Practice, sponsored by the FACDL (more information here) My online colleague and friend Brian Tannebaum extended the invite and I’m looking forward to meeting him, as well as checking in with Larry Port of  RocketMatter, the Solo Corps sponsor and learning from the other speakers at the event.

The following week, on October 21, 2010, I’ll be presenting with my co-author Nicole Black on Social Media at the MyLegal Conference here in Washington D.C.
