Celebrating A Decade At MyShingle
Ten years ago yesterday, I pushed the “enter” key and launched MyShingle.com on to the World Wide Web. I didn’t know what to expect, but I fell in love with the medium and my solo/small beat so I just couldn’t stop. But this blog has been so much more than just a place to write and rant and let off steam; it’s opened the door to opportunities I never expected and to valued friendships and productive work partnerships. Looking back on what you said you hoped to accomplish when you began MyShingle ten years ago, it is amazing to see how successful you were in bringing it all to fruition. Congratulations. To me, you are always the voice of reason in the blogosphere — insightful and thought-provoking, yet always fair, measured, and open to contrary views. We solos are very lucky to have you representing us, speaking on our behalf.
