Mom Law Firm Owners: Let’s Take Back the Legal Profession By Taking Our Seat at the Table

Women-owned law firms, particularly those owned by moms, have become the proverbial  invisible man  of the legal profession.  Mom lawyers are excluded from the conversation about retaining women in the legal profession, and we don’t even rank on the ABA Reports  drawn from NALP on women in the profession. But just like the tiny whos in Horton Hears A Who, we are here, we are here, we are here!! 

Just as in Horton, an Elefant is listening! And rather than continuing to complain about exclusion, I’ve decided to take a different approach: to use my blog to celebrate and shine a spotlight on moms who have decided to start owning, and stop loaning their legal talent.  To this end, today we kicking off a series of profiles featuring moms who are running their own law firms in the hopes of gaining  our rightful seat at the table  when it comes to addressing options for women in the law.
