MyShingle Turns 18

Eighteen is the age of adulthood, but it’s also the numerical representation of “Chai,” the Hebrew word for life.  Last night just before midnight, MyShingle turned 18 – and I like to view my blog as still full of life instead of a boring grown up, with professional, SEO-driven content and posts on the administrivia of starting a law firm. Of course, you’ll find that content here too but it’s not my jam or my genius which is to inspire, celebrate and advocate for lawyers who start and own law firms.

I had hoped to post something clever today like 18 things I learned over the course of 18 years of blogging, but the truth is that I couldn’t come up with that many lessons.  Because whether you’re starting a blog or a podcast or a video channel or even a law practice, it’s really about just one thing, not eighteen.  Which is to find your voice and put it out into the universe.

To celebrate my 18ths, I’m hosting a FREE Facetime live tomorrow entitled From Big Law to Your Law: Why Lawyers Should Stop Loaning and Start Owning Their Talent.  Details.here.
